Возможно, я нашел самый первый фан-фик в мире.
Какое-то совсем странное продолжение "Джейн Эйр", которое, кажется, начинается где-то с середины оригинала. Поражает наличием у аффтарши нехилых знаний Индийских реалий (и особенно Индийских наркотиков), и полным отсутствием чего-либо ещё.

Макулатурность труда подтверждает англо-говорящий Гугл, который на комбинацию аффтарша + "Джейн Эйр", равно как и на комбинацию аффтарша + сабж, выдает пару ссылок на русско-язычный текст повести. И всё.

Вчера, долго и нудно, объяснял человеку (из Бельгии), что (и почему) евреи и мусульмане не празднуют рождество.
Он был крайне удивлён.

С очень большими усилиями всё-таки сумел не послать это в качестве "песни которую поют на рождество" знакмому, проделавшему мне дырку в голове по МСНу вопросами о сабже в Канаде.

Сегодня мой ученик (7 лет) что-то напевал на уроке. Прислушавшись получше, я понял, что напевает он музыку из "Happy Tree Friends".

Сегодня мне снился сон про минотавра. В модерной версии.
То есть минотавр был обычным, на вид, студентом, который периодически превращался в... ну, это самое, полу-быка (верхняя половина).

И жрал он кажется не только девственниц, а кого попадёт. Недискриминирующий такой минотавр.
А в остельное время нормальный чувак, много друзей итд итп.

Я с ним был знаком через его сестру, кстати.
Важность присутствия которой я оценил уже только проснувшись.

Прекрасное из письма некого Клэнси Брауна, одного из создателей телесериала "Carnivàle" (Карнавал):

CARNIVALE was cancelled because there were not enough of you. Period. By "you" I mean people who loved the show and embraced its complexity and subtlety. You should take that as compliment, not reproach. The vast majority of TV viewers, even HBO subscribers, do not have the capacity to think and watch at the same time...


The second season "style" of the show was adjusted to try and address some of these issues...
We tried, but it was still too dense for the average bear.

Мой учитель вождения - уникальный случай.
Иначе, мне не понять как он умудрился назначить мне тест на единственный день, про который я ему сказал, что никак не могу из за работы.

Сегодня к нам в клуб нагрянула полиция.
Шахматист А обиделся на шахматиста Б, который сказал, во время анализа, что тот сделал слабый ход, и пошел звать полицию.
Полиция поговорила с шахматистом Б несколько минут, а потом увела куда-то шахматиста А.
